We have all heard the saying that goes "success requires us to get out of our own way". In other words, not letting our egoic self destruct tendencies impact on our outcomes. There is some value in this because there are so many judgements we make about the ego self which we then align to, expand and in the process we limit our power to own our manifestations, in whatever form they take.
I trust that at the end of reading this article, you will be inclined to only say good things about yourself. You can reflect and learn. And you can remember that you are always doing your best as the one true self you are.
We all want the same thing: to make the best of life.
At our core, it is as simple as this. We can hold difference definitions and perceptions of what simplicity is. We try so many ways to make the best of our life and we never really stop thinking about which form suits us best.
We explore different themes, and we swap and change them over the years. We, our lives are constantly changing in one direction or another. We can come to experience these changes with deeper loving self acceptance.
How do we do this? I propose three strategies below which is what I facilitate with our members in the SMITT Program.
Know that the ego is not separate from your higher self
There is only one you, one self, so stop judging yourself in any way, shape or form. There is no need to find a rational or logical or moral reason as to why self judgement, criticism is necessary or even helpful. There is another way.
You can find ways to forgive, learn and accept all you have done, all that you do, all you have not done and all that you will not do.
Just accept it all and allow yourself to discern intuitively what your next steps are. This transmutes the separation between your higher self and ego self as the one self you really are. This is what self acceptance is really about in spiritual practice. There are many modalities in spiritual practice that help us transmute self acceptance, including light language activations, energy healing.
2. Cultivate deeper alignment to your intuition. Intuition is our ability to receive information from the non physical. This information could be in dreams, pictures, images, symbols, words, any aspect of our senses. It could be a deep feeling or knowing, a certainty about something, without any proof or back up evidence. Intuition can take time to align with but it is one way to enable the infinite wisdom that we all have, to guide us.
We have all experienced guidance, infinite wisdom at one time or the other. For instance to wake up suddenly out of the blue a few minutes before the time we had set the alarm for, or to find an old school mate at an office desk ready to help at a time we thought we would be amongst strangers. Or knowing the answer to a riddle we originally had no familiarity with. The list goes on. The unknown is not as scary as we have conditioned.
There are many times we have received information in different ways and we can come to consciously receive more information, with more ease, to guide us in our daily steps. This can be part of our spiritual practice.
3. Let go of the fearful thoughts and beliefs about consequences of trusting the unknown or stepping out of the neurotypical box. There are times when you will do things the neurotypical way and there are times when you will not. You will be guided to act and be what you need, with compassion, and there will be no need to be in fear of being caught out, being unprepared, being punished, of consequences of not knowing. We can have less doubts about our own abilities.
These three strategies shared above are what constitute spiritual practice of self acceptance.
Through spiritual practice, we can take baby steps in any area, judge our self less, learn to trust our intuition in whatever way it flows and we can release the fear of lack, of anything.
We have chosen particular ambitions and themes which you are exploring in our day to day, in many roles and identities. We can have these explorations with more flow, ease and grace if we choose. Do not be afraid of the unknown. The options will be infinite and you will always have choice.
As you engage in spiritual practice, there is a lot of love and support, physical and non physical, that is available to you which you open up more to see, invite, accept and work with.
Allow yourself to accept and grow in your understanding of all that you are, as you go about your day, in Higher Frequency Living.
